Random bubblings 2

Campus politics..i hate campus politics.No,actually i HATE campus politics.This extends to all kinds of politics anyway,political politics,church politics.friends stealing friends politics right down to the politics in my head(my voices do campaign to win the big post of being the main voice in my head.i like all of them though,keep wondering why they go through all that)..but thats beside the point..i really really do hate campus politics..in fact so much that i never vote..

So here's the scenario..public university,full of shady people(no pun intended,just speakin from figures) who all want to be the head of some department or the other. Ok fine,i know having leadership skills and all that ish is apparently good stuff,but don't turn into a cheating,vote buying.free soda/beer giving to get more votes kind of candidate...REALLY??i think there has to be better ways to do this thing..be subtle about it ppl..at least,gosh its the most polite thing you can do..

Hence the reason i never vote during campus elections...first of all,i hate all those posters strewn everywhere..ok don't get me wrong,am not against the posters(yeah right) but just don't glue them aimlessly everywhere... On a normal non campaign day,campus is actually a very beautiful place,very spotlessly clean and professionally manicured by hardworkin kenyans who i highly suspect aren't paid enough..then all of a sudden campaigns start and there are posters(which i still dont have a problem with...ahem ahem) GLUED everywhere...on walls,trees,in the middle of the road,on walls,on walls and on more walls..the fact that some candidates glue 6 posters of themselves at the same place doesn't make that better... Once again,i don't have a problem with the posters,but honestly...somethin unique every once in a while would be appreciated..and the hell with the taglines?? A paradigm shift into your future, Leadership that leads(i wonder what other kind there is), For Justice,Truth and Educational steering into the future to name but a few of the least ridiculous ones...i think i even lost the point of this post in all this venting..oh well,you get it don't you...

Which brings me to my concluding statement...i have invariably made up my mind,help of the voices included,that come next year,i'm gonna make posters...not vie for a post,just make posters...simply because i can.. I am now in search for a picture of a very beautiful cow,preferably black and white,whose face shall don my posters together with the tagline 'Moo-ing forward to greener pastures and milking out potential with graze'...or alternatively,put up a pic of Farmer John and Sheep with the tagline 'the baa-gining of a leader who farms what you plant'...lets see if those shall work..who knows,ppl might just vote for me:-)
